My First Memory Quilt (T-Shirt Quilt)

Look at what I did . . .

A memory quilt using Chris' Hawaii t-shirts.  It is not perfect- but I am happy with the results.  I just need to buy backing, batting, binding and then tie it up!

Then on to my childhood  . . .

aw that's cool! I was thinking about saving my favorite baby outfits from the boys and making it into a quilt... or rather finding someone ELSE to make it into a quilt! lol

I have cut all my shirts up for this too, but I'm terrified to start this process. I've heard it's a bear!

Great job! My mom made me a quilt out of all of the scrap material from clothes she made me as a child. I love it.

I love these quilts!! My mom made me and my sister ones of our high school synchronized swimming shirts when we graduated. Last year for Christmas, she made a couple for my hubby -- they are so fun :)

Nice work! I'm impressed.

This is sooooooooooo wonderful, Taryn! I have save tee shirts for this as well, but I don't sew beyond the cursory hem...and, NO, even that quilt requires more than my skill......

I love it!

This is really nice! Usually I'm not a huge fan of T-Shirt quilts, but I really like this one.
