Speaking of odd food combinations . . .

My favorite, easy, a little bit odd, go-to summer dinner is Tuna Fish and Cantaloupe.

Tada!

It is impossibly easy- just make some tuna fish to your liking (I had a bit of mayo, ranch and a pinch of sugar) then scoop into prepared cantaloupe halves.

Enjoy!

(Chris does not really like the combination like I do- but he humors me. He first eats all the cantaloupe and then finishes off the tuna. Silly guy.)

Interesting...I love tuna and I love cantaloupe...but I've never thought of eating them again. Although a lot of people do put grapes in tuna salad. So I can see how it would be tasty!

Well, I can safely say that I have never, ever heard of anyone eating tuna and cantaloupe in the same sitting.

I'll just say that it sounds ... interesting.

I wanted to write this off, but then I realized I like corn in my tuna because it is sweet, so it's likely I would like this as well. I might have to give it a try.

Eagerly awaiting your next idea while I pretend you didn't mention this one...

:) Just kidding. Kinda.

I'm right there with you in terms of odd food combinations--I LOVE peanut butter and sweet pickle sandwiches!

I don't eat fish, so I'm gonna have to take your word for it that this is yummy!

I think I feel comfortable enough with you to say ... THAT IS DISGUSTING!

:D

Tuna is on my Top 5 Foods I Hate list so there's no way I would ever try it. But hey, whatever works for you!

Hmm, this is interesting! One of my favorite combos is cantaloupe and prosciutto - which is very common in Italy. The sweetness of the melon with the saltiness of the prosciutto is just amazing! I highly recommend!
