It is Finished!

The quilt is done! Seriously. D-O-N-E!

Tada

I finished the painfully slow process of "blind hem stitching" the binding on and them did a little bit of touch up and now it is finished! I feel a little masochistic, because despite how frustrating, difficult and time-consuming this little project was, I am anxious to start another. What is that about?

Beautiful! I have been searching all over for a quilt pattern that I like ...

I'm sure that your next one won't be nearly as hard as this one was (I mean, you get better the more you do it, right?).

Love the quilt! It looks great!

The Le Creuset outlet store is in the Colorado Mills Mall, and I think there's another one at Silverthorne! Love it! This whole month they have a celebrate cooking around the country and so are have great sales on select items! (both of ours on my blog were on sale, we saved like $160 on both of them!

Hope you can shop there!

Thank you SO much for sharing your story in my comments. I completely agree with you that sometimes couples need time off to reconsider everything. I was really upset today with a lot of the comments I received, so positive ones like yours really made my day. Thanks, girl!

That's so pretty! I have always wanted to make a quilt!

P.S. FCUK is sold at department stores too. I see pieces at Macy's or Nordstroms all the time. In CA, they have a few French Connection stores too. I love FCUK!!

If my post helped you feel better, then it was reason enough to post it. We're all human and we can't always be happy. We all have those moments where we just need to be down and out...

Hope you feel better.

Wow, Taryn! You have completed something that I always dreamed of doing and you've done such a good job! You must feel great because THAT'S what makes you want to do it all over again. How many have you made?

It is beautiful. I am going to have to learn to sew one of these days.

And you sound like a woman who just gave birth and now wants to have another baby!
